Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a member of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. She was also the producer and costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. In her final year she worked as a director and lighting designer for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble but in this the year that she made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Her other work includes an array of game show appearances. In her early years she grew up in Walnut Creek with her siblings and the poetry writer Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She participated as a cheerleader. She was a student at Pomona College for a short duration and was graduated at Lewis & Clark College, both located in Oregon. Post had previously been married Stephen Knox. The couple has been together since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with who she has two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as the perfect mother and wife. Post is an example to many people in Hollywood.
